Welcome to the GATES Group

The GATES Group is composed of three branches: Gates Investments LLC, which is the controlling company and focuses on AV products and services, Gates Telecom which in started the 1990's and supplied products and services in "Voice over IP" (VoIP) market, and Gates Tek which focuses on general IT and Security products and services. Gates has 22 years in sourcing, sales and tech support for AV/IT system integrators and consultants.

What Brands we work with

We are experts in finding the right products for the right price for our customers. Since we only work with AV, Security and IT system integrators we aggressively search for in-stock items for the lowest possible cost. Note: we are NOT online retailers. Every sale is a custom quote and direct sale for a particular customer. The goal is to obtain the right product for the best price.

The process

Customers send us their lists of product part#'s and required quantities, and we go out searching. Sometimes an entire project BOM, sometimes just a single item. Nothing is too small, too big, too simple or too complicated. We take all requests. We have handled million dollar orders, as well as a $1.98 order for a cable.

In the AV space we work with all major brands, like Crestron, QSC, Extron, Legrand, Bose, Kramer, etc. (and also with hard to find items). In the IT space we work with Cisco, Extreme Networks, HPE, Dell, Quantum, Ubiquity, Intel, AMD, Samsung and others. In security we work with Axis, Schlage, Altronix and others. The closing

After our customer approves our quote, we purchase and receive all items at our main warehouse in Miami. We check, verify, sometimes test equipment. Then we either deliver or ship the order. We can ship anywhere, U.S. or abroad, and will handle all export documentation and logistics if needed, including HazMat.

We have worked with Gates for the last 8 years, and we appreciate their transparency and efficiency. There are no "ifs", "buts" or "I'm sorry"... if there is a problem they jump on it and get it resolved. Period.

All the Tools You Need to Succeed

Please email or call us and let us know what your requirements and specs are. We usually will have a quote in a matter of hours, unless the supplier needs more time to send us a quote. We keep you updated on the quoting process from beginning to end.

We also work with suppliers when a particular product is not available, either by a consequence of chip and materials shortage, or if the product was discontinued, and we will offer equivalents and substitutes.
